The very first foal born at Swanreach this year is out of our little bay mare Rannoch Melodic. She was paired with Swanreach Delightful and we were pleased to find a gorgeous brown filly waiting for us in the paddock. Miley has inherited her dads beautiful head and movement. This is the second time we have paired these two together and after five colts from this mare we finally got the filly we wanted.

Rannoch Melodic is also the dam of the well performed ponies Swanreach Majestic, Masterpiece and Diamonds.

We are expecting six foals this year, three of which are by outside stallions. This year we have AI to the successful stallion Oakvale Serenade and we are pleased to announce we have had a flashy chestnut colt with four white feet and a large star. Archie is a beautiful foal who will grow into a outstanding show pony. He is extremely quiet and is the first to turn up for a neck scratch. As a potential new sire for Swanreach we are watching in anticipation as he matures.

Our third foal is by the well known sire Royalwood Boy Soprano out of our wonderful mare Swanreach Divine. This is the second pairing with this stallion, as a result we have yet another beautiful pony. Anthem is full brother to the beautiful Swanreach Orchestra who went to his first show recently and was awarded supreme champion junior gelding (2008 NSW Riding Pony show). Another exciting foal Elvis will no doubt be just as successful as his brother. Divine will be returning to Boy Soprano again this year along with Royal Rhapsody of Astral.

Kirreway Diamaru also covered one of our thoroughbred mares, the result was a beautiful bay filly. With her sire's beautiful head and movement, Swanreach Night Life will grow to make an outstanding large galloway.

Last but not least Giorgio of Pinecrest had a beautiful bay colt by Rothwell Toy Town. In 2007 this pairing resulted in the beautiful gelding Swanreach Gold Edition. Georgio and Toytown are the sire and dam of the top show ponies Westlake Grand Affair (NSW EFA show hunter of the year, National Show Hunter of the year) and the champion pony Westlake Gold Label (royal show and NSW HOY champion) who is currently being shown by Joanne Prestwidge.
